Andrew Robert Wilcox (b. 1990) was born into a non-musical family, but, after joining a choir in elementary school, he caught a love for the art of making music. He would perform in various choirs and musicals until he reached Long Beach City College, where he studied with Dr. Roger Przytulski, and decided to take up composition.

He would continue his musical education at California State University, Fullerton, where he studied with Dr. Ken Walicki, Dr. Lloyd Rodgers, and Dr. Pamela Madsen. After graduating, he began a career as a composer and sound designer for theater, cartoons, and video games.

Andrew has recently completed his Master's Degree at California State University, Long Beach after premiering his new work, SOCK TOWN: A Film Noir Sock Puppet Musical, and now works with the Long Beach Youth Chorus, Fairmont Private Schools, and the Long Beach Playhouse in order to spread the passion of music that he received as a child.

Andrew has had his music played by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, The CSUF New Music Ensemble, and the Newgate Ensemble. He has also had his music frequently featured at the Long Beach Playhouse, STAGEStheatre, and All The World Wide Web’s A Stage for various productions.
